I had my step son over this weekend, and I just cannot stand him to sit in front of a TV all the time. I try to find stuff for him to do, and i have been anxious to play with mod podge ! This was simple as it gets.
- Find old shoe box
- cut up pieces of scrapbook paper/fabric/tissue paper/whatever
- mod podge one side of box heavily and stick random patterns all over
- seal that side with mod podge
- repeat on other three sides
- let dry
- add toilet paper rolls
- add pens, pencils, etc!
I want to see pics if you do this project! Would love to see the different pattern/print variations!

I pinned this on Pinterest almost a year ago. I completely forgot about it until i stumbled across it on one of my boards tonight. After reading this article, i wanted to pat myself on the back. I have been doing this with my son over the last week (without having read this article) --and its working! I exclusively breast feed so it seems to throw a wrench in alot of stuff, but even being a mom that EBFs, it works for me! I recommend this article.

So I decided that today was my day. I was so sick and tired of every time i clean the kitchen or cook something im wearing an apron...but my clothes are still getting soiled! I started forming this nasty habit of slouching when doing dishes because i didnt want my shirt to touch the sink and get wet! Doing this caused me back pain -- so i decided enough was enough. I found some left over fabric from past projects, and an old shower curtain, and thus - THIS AWESOME APRON WAS BORN! Now i have an apron that actually serves its purpose; and I Love it!! Ok so its not PERFECT...i didnt measure a thing i just kind of threw it together...but imperfect is just fine with me. It gives it character and everyone will know its miiiiiine =)
