I love to buy these wraps from the store...but for $3.99 + the cost of a bag of chips, $5+ is just more than I'm willing to spend on a meal that i can make myself for pennies. At first, i was a little hesitant and worried that mine wouldn't taste as good as the ones from the store, but trying it tonight, it WAS, and I'm so excited about it because now i can make them over and over again! At the time of writing this, I'm 7 mos pregnant and I stay exhausted. That being said, my husband works all day, long hours and i feel that he deserves to come home to a decent meal every night. My point is - fast food is the best food..and by fast food i mean this meal. It took maybe 15 minutes to complete, and i made extra for him to take for lunch tomorrow! I also want to point out that considering all the dinners out there, this is a healthier choice, so that just adds to it's greatness.
This made 5 wraps for me, however if you really want to beef them up with chicken it may make about 3.
Directions:
1. Season meat as desired and cut into cubes, chunks, strips, whichever you prefer and cook on George Forman grill. This made the meat moist and amazing!! I use a Cajun seasoning from back home Louisiana (this is my second post in a row saying this).
2. Lay out tortillas, warm if desired in microwave for a few seconds
2. Lay out tortillas, warm if desired in microwave for a few seconds
3. Spread a thin layer of ranch over tortilla with the backside of a spoon
4. Lay a layer of spinach, the ranch will act as a glue to help hold it down
5. Sprinkle on the mozzarella cheese
6. Add chicken
Make sure to refrigerate leftovers, i always make the wraps and store them instead of having ingredients randomly piling in the fridge.
Eat it right out of the fridge!
